Items umpublished

Hello,

I have a new problem.

I need to exclude two categories that have the same name within Domus but realize that even clicking on the delete button it does not exclude.
I can only unpublish.
I wonder how do I delete these categories with the same name and, if the products included in this category will be deleted automatically and if so then be able to register a class with the same name and re-register the products in this new category only.

Yes, I changed the category but the items that are inside are unpublished and unpublished items do not appear in the properties list.
How do I locate the unpublished items so I can delete them and delete the category also

I select yes "also include items that are not active" then click "go" and nothing happens.
How can I select and I can actually show the items unpublished?
