I am completely lost in setting this up and getting it to work. I am using the Pro version. I have followed the step-by-step instructions here:

www.fabbricabinaria.it/en/docs/j4schema

I am using K2 on my site and am completely lost when it comes to how to assign an item title (headline), publish up date, article intro text, article body text, description, and image to their respective properties for structured data.

During installation I went into the "Overrides" tab and copied the K2 from the left-hand column. My question is, do I still have to change code manually in a page to get this all to work correctly? If so, for K2, where is this done.

Any guidance would be very appreciated.

Hello,

J4Schema allows you to create tokens and inject them inside your HTML code whereever you want, not just inside articles as in the free version.
Since it's not so easy to find the right spot where you can add microdata, inside the PRO version we ship some template overrides, so you can copy them and use them immediatly (this is what we did for our test site).

Now, to your question.
After copying J4Schema template overrides, your site will automatically have microdata in the right place. If you want to test that, you can take a look at the HTML code and search for "itemprop".
Moreover, inside the PRO version you have a module that will generate a link that will let you check your current page vs google rich snippets tester.

Hope this helps to clean your mind.

Thank you so much for your incredibly speedy reply. It is so appreciated.

I am not seeing "itemprop" anywhere in the page source when I view the source of one of my K2 items.

I'm also not seeing a template override for K2's Item Author, Item Intro Text, Item Body on the Tokens tab.

When I use the testing tool (now active on my site on the right-hand column, I am seeing no author information despite having done the email verification.

OK, I figured out what I wasn't doing properly. I needed to go into each k2 category and change the template the j4schema template so that it over-rode it.

One thing I am still not clear on, is how can I make multiple template over-rides using j4schema, for different categories.

Thanks in advance for your help.

This page:

Needs to be marked up as a review:
theandygram.com/broadway-reviews/2013-20...pelling-Theatre.html

Whereas, articles in this category, need to be seen as just regular articles:
theandygram.com/broadway-press-release-r...formance-Sep-22.html

It would appear that I need 2 separate k2 overrides to accomplish this so I can select the right template for the category. How can I do this?

Thanks,
Andy
