After updating joomla to 2.5.9

However, I just tested it with Joomla 2.5.9 and everything works fine.

Hello,
I figured it out. The form was a RSforms registration form for Joomla. It was previously relying on the Joomla play through plugin. I changed it to the rs form plugin and it works now.

So I have new installation of RS forms 1.40 rev45 on a Joomla 2.5.9 site. When the plugin is active the forms will not post. Even if no play through is in the form. Disabling it fixed it.
Is there an update to the 1.0 rsform plugin?
Looking at the tab, in the configuration area, it does not render the tab and does not store the keys when saved.

hi, with the latest release they changed a lot of things (infact they disable the recaptcha plugin when you install the new version).
I'll release a new version ASAP.

Okay, I see. Thanks for jumping on that.
Is it possible to have your plug-ins allow them to be updated via the joomla installer? The Joomla plugins I've used all require me to uninstall them to update to the current. Then I have to reconfigure them. It would nice if they allowed for updating through the update interface on joomla 2.5.x
