First you have to install the update: TrackTime saves the CURRENT secret key.
THEN, every time it has to crypt something it will use the SAVED key.

How do you think it could work, if you change things BEFORE applying the update?

- I have my site as it is!
- I have upgraded to 2.1.0
- Again not legible
= bulk shit... as said before :-(

>> Trying to restore the backup taken rightbefore the upgrade, perform some test to see what happens... If not success I'll will stay without upgrading and I will kill 'tracktime' as soon as I'll get an alternative solution (To much risky as per my point of view)

as I already told you, every time you restore your site, your secret key changes.
Before any update was your data readable?
You have to update TrackTime, it will store your key.
Then you can do whatever you want.

>> of course (if not why to claim for)

You have to update TrackTime, it will store your key.
>> Ahhh yeaaah!... but after 2.1.0 --> Not readable again (as already said)

Then you can do whatever you want.
>> Ohhh yeaahhh!... reatoring to earlier site backup version as said, too :-)
