Can't get started

I have just installed Tracktime which seems ideal for what I want to do. However, although it seems to have installed correctly and I can see the component listed in the backend under Components, when I try to attach it to a menu item I do not see it listed as an available component. So I cannot access it from the front end. I cannot see how to set up a new project, but this perhaps has to be done from the front end?

I must be missing somethingn obvious.

Thanks for the quick reply. In that case I have a problem because I cannot see how to create a project. The documentation says to select Add/Edit Project but I cannot find this on any screen.

I have created a new category. However I cannot see anywhere I can create a new customer or a new project. The only options on the menu are "Custom Fields", "Categories", "Start New Activity" and "You have the latest version".
